A night of choral singing in the heart of the Ciociaria

The International Festival of Choirs and Musical Groups is one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Casalvieri, a charming village in the Comino Valley, in the province of Frosinone, Lazio. Every year, in mid-July, the central Piazza Municipio transforms into an open-air stage featuring a diverse lineup of choirs, vocal ensembles, and musical groups. In 2026, the festival reaches its tenth edition, cementing its status as a landmark event for choral music lovers throughout the Ciociaria region.

A project born from passion

The event is rooted in a deep love for choral music and a desire to bring the historic town center to life during summer evenings. The festival is dedicated to the memory of Denise Lieghio, who, alongside Nicole Riggi, founded this musical initiative that is now deeply cherished by the community. Over the years, the event has grown around gospel and polyphonic singing, uniting different generations with the collaboration of the Municipality of Casalvieri and the support of the Lazio Region.

Choirs, gospel, and live music

The evening's program focuses on the voice in all its forms: polyphonic choirs, gospel ensembles, musical groups, and guests from the Italian pop scene. Performances run from the early evening until late at night, when the square fills with an enthusiastic audience. The atmosphere is that of a typical Ciociarian village festival, where musical quality meets conviviality and the pleasure of gathering outdoors.
