A festival born from wounded land

IncantoMarche is much more than a music review: it is a collective gesture of rebirth. The festival is rooted in RisorgiMarche, the initiative born in 2016 and conceived by actor and musician Neri Marcorè to bring "people, attention, and life" back to the territories of the Marche hinterland devastated by the earthquake. After eight editions of extraordinary success, RisorgiMarche has become a network, and IncantoMarche is its artistic heart: an open space where music meets solidarity and sustainability.

The idea is simple and powerful: no stages, but landscapes. Concerts are held in nature, on high-altitude meadows, at the foot of mountains, or in historic villages, and the audience reaches them by walking. The festival was indeed among the first in Italy to focus on the dimension of walking, transforming each concert into an experience that combines music, landscape, and shared effort.

The 2026 edition: the tenth anniversary of the earthquake

The 2026 edition of IncantoMarche takes place from July 18 to 25 and takes on a profound meaning: it marks the tenth anniversary of the earthquake that severely hit the central Apennines in 2016. The review thus renews its original mission, bringing music and attention back to places "marked but not defeated." The artistic direction remains entrusted to Neri Marcorè, assisted by Giambattista Tofoni.

The Arcevia concert: Joan Thiele at Monte della Croce

Among the most anticipated stops is the one in Arcevia, a splendid hilltop village in the province of Ancona, in the heart of the Marche. On Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM, singer-songwriter Joan Thiele performs at Monte della Croce, in Via Rocchi Tito. The concert venue is reached by walking about 2 km: a short walk that is part of the experience, immersed in the green hills of Arcevia.

Joan Thiele returns live after her 2025 success, performing songs from her album JOANITA and the single Eco, presented at Sanremo, in a sophisticated and magnetic atmosphere. As is the festival's tradition, the concert is also designed in an accessible version, to ensure participation for the audience with reduced mobility.

Walking, excursions, and sustainability

For 2026, it is also possible to participate in guided excursions by reservation, designed to accompany spectators in discovering the places that host the concerts. The festival defines itself as "solidary, inclusive, and eco-sustainable": values that translate into attention to the environment, accessibility, and local communities. For the visitor, participating in IncantoMarche means discovering hidden corners of the Marche territory and contributing, with their presence, to the rebirth of these lands.
