Jazz in the heart of the village
The Corinaldo Jazz Festival is one of the most anticipated musical events of the summer in the Marche region. Since 1998, the village of Corinaldo, a medieval gem in the province of Ancona and part of the 'Borghi più Belli d'Italia' circuit, has hosted some of the biggest names in international and Italian jazz in Piazza Il Terreno every year. The festival is organized by the Associazione Culturale Round Jazz in collaboration with the Municipality of Corinaldo and has been a benchmark for jazz enthusiasts throughout the region for almost thirty years.
An open-air stage
What makes this festival special is its setting: the concerts take place outdoors, in the heart of the historic center enclosed by Corinaldo's famous 15th-century walls. The intimate, enclosed square creates a direct connection between musicians and the audience, far from the sprawling nature of large events. The evenings usually start at 9:15 PM and offer a curated program that alternates between music legends, international ensembles, and talents from the new Italian jazz scene.
Nights after the concerts
A much-loved tradition of Corinaldo Jazz is the jam session that follows the concerts, hosted in the village's venues, such as the 'Ai 9 Tarocchi' Restaurant Pizzeria. Here, musicians and the public gather to extend the evening in an informal and convivial atmosphere, the true soul of a festival that is also an opportunity for meeting and discovering the territory.
Corinaldo and the Marche
The festival is part of the Municipality's summer program and is one of the highlights of the cultural offerings of the Province of Ancona and the Marche region. Visiting it also means discovering one of the most charming villages in the region, with its medieval historic center, the famous Piaggia staircase, and the authentic atmosphere of the Marche hinterland. An evening of great music thus becomes an opportunity to fully experience the charm of Corinaldo.
Corinaldo Jazz — edition 2026
The XXVIII edition of the Corinaldo Jazz Festival will be held from Saturday, August 1st to Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, in Piazza Il Terreno, with concerts starting every evening at 9:15 PM. The 2026 program brings together some of the most prestigious names in international jazz and a heartfelt tribute to Neapolitan singer-songwriters. Some evenings, organized in an intimate format with limited capacity, sold out during presale. As per tradition, the concerts are followed by late-night jam sessions in the village venues. The event is organized by the Associazione Culturale Round Jazz with the Municipality of Corinaldo.

How to get here
Corinaldo is located in the hinterland of the province of Ancona, a few kilometers from Senigallia. By car, it can be reached from the A14 motorway (exits Senigallia or Marotta-Mondolfo) by continuing inland; the nearest train station is Senigallia, from which you can continue by bus or car.
Tickets
The concerts take place in Piazza Il Terreno with paid admission. Advance tickets are available online through the Liveticket circuit (www.liveticket.it/corinaldojazz). Early booking is recommended as some evenings often sell out.
