Jazz in the heart of the village

The Corinaldo Jazz Festival is one of the most anticipated musical events of the summer in the Marche region. Since 1998, the village of Corinaldo, a medieval gem in the province of Ancona and part of the 'Most Beautiful Villages in Italy' circuit, has hosted some of the biggest names in international and Italian jazz every year in Piazza Il Terreno. The festival is organized by the Associazione Culturale Round Jazz (Round Jazz Cultural Association) in collaboration with the Municipality of Corinaldo and has been a benchmark for jazz enthusiasts throughout the region for almost thirty years.

An open-air stage

What makes this festival special is its setting: the concerts take place outdoors, in the heart of the historic center enclosed by Corinaldo's famous 15th-century walls. The intimate piazza creates a direct connection between musicians and the audience, far from the dispersed nature of large events. The evenings typically begin at 9:15 PM and offer a curated program that alternates between music legends, international ensembles, and talents from the new Italian jazz scene.

Nights after the concerts

A beloved tradition of Corinaldo Jazz is the jam session that follows the concerts, hosted in local venues such as the Ristorante Pizzeria 'Ai 9 Tarocchi'. Here, musicians and audiences gather to extend the evening in an informal and convivial atmosphere, embodying the true spirit of a festival that is also an occasion for meeting and discovering the local area.

Corinaldo and the Marche

The festival is part of the Municipality's summer program and is one of the highlights of the cultural offerings of the Province of Ancona and the Marche region. Visiting it also means discovering one of the most charming villages in the region, with its medieval historic center, the famous Piaggia staircase, and the authentic atmosphere of the Marche hinterland.
