Summer festivities in Lonigo

I Venerdì di Luglio (The Fridays of July) is now a regular fixture of summer in Lonigo, in the Vicenza area: throughout July, every Friday evening the historic centre transforms into a large open-air festival space. The initiative is promoted by the Department of Commerce of the Municipality of Lonigo in collaboration with the Pro Loco (local tourist board), Confcommercio (Italian General Confederation of Trade, Tourism and Services), and the Giovani Leoni (Young Lions) council.

Shopping and fun under the stars

Starting at 7:30 PM, the squares and pedestrian streets — from Via Ognibene to Via Roma and up to Parco Ippodromo — come alive with music and concerts, outdoor dining, fashion shows, dance school performances, cultural and creative exhibitions, and many activities. Shops in the centre remain open until midnight, while the outdoor seating areas of bars and illuminated shop windows make the evening atmosphere even more vibrant.

Designed for an audience of all ages — children, young people, and families — the event combines commerce, culture, and entertainment in a proven formula that has accompanied the warm July evenings in the heart of Lonigo for years.
