The Festa dell'Antica Pieve takes place in the hamlet of Baldaria, in Cologna Veneta, in the province of Verona. Originally the Festa della Trebbiatura (Threshing Festival), it maintains a strong link with the agricultural tradition of the area: its stated goal is to remember the uses, customs, dishes, and traditions of the Venetian peasant world.
A July village festival
The event takes place in July and offers the typical evenings of a Venetian village festival: a food stand with traditional dishes, a dance floor, a charity lottery, and entertainment for all ages. It is a time when the small community of Baldaria comes together and welcomes visitors from neighboring towns.

The reference to the Antica Pieve (Ancient Parish Church) recalls the religious and civil history of this corner of the Bassa Veronese.
