The summer sagra in Montebello Vicentino

The Festa di San Giovanni is one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Montebello Vicentino, in the province of Vicenza. It takes place at the Piazzale del Donatore and lasts for four consecutive evenings, usually around the third decade of June, coinciding with the feast of San Giovanni.

Music, dancing, and themed evenings

The heart of the festival is the large dance floor: each evening has its own character, from the country night with the local dance school, to the wild foam party with DJs, to evenings dedicated to the hits of the 80s and 90s and traditional ballo liscio (ballroom dancing) with an orchestra. There is entertainment for all ages, in an informal and popular atmosphere.

The food stand

Alongside the music, the food stand offers traditional Venetian dishes and sagra specialties, to be enjoyed at outdoor tables. It's the place to meet up with friends and family on warm summer evenings in the Vicenza area.

A village tradition

Organized by local associations with the support of the Pro Loco and the Municipality of Montebello Vicentino, the Festa di San Giovanni represents a moment of gathering that attracts visitors from neighboring municipalities in the Val d'Alpone and the Vicenza plain.
