A concert to be experienced with your eyes closed

Harps and Cushions is no ordinary concert. At Cascina Beltondino, an ancient estate nestled in the hills of Castelletto Monferrato (Alessandria province, Piedmont), the ensemble Il Cerchio delle Fate offers an unusual way to "feel" music: the vibrations of the harps, small instruments, and voices envelop the audience not just through hearing, but through the whole body. There is no stage, no chairs: everyone gets comfortable on the floor, barefoot, lying on a mat or sitting on a soft, cozy cushion, relaxed and lulled by the melodies.

The Il Cerchio delle Fate ensemble

Founded in 2007 under the guidance of harpist, composer, and artistic director Patrizia Borromeo, Il Cerchio delle Fate is an ensemble of Celtic harps and voices that performs a repertoire of European traditional music. The delicate sounds of the Celtic harp intertwine with Tibetan singing bowls and vocals, creating an intimate, serene, and familiar atmosphere: as it has been described, "the hall of Cascina Beltondino transforms into a nest."

A wellness-focused proposal

The event, organized in collaboration with the Accademia Monferrato, is part of a journey dedicated to wellness and relaxation through musical listening. It is an opportunity to take a break from the daily grind and find a moment of calm, letting yourself be carried away by sound in a place steeped in history: Cascina Beltondino traces its origins back to the Middle Ages, when it was a small fortress atop a hill.
