Three nights of street food and live music at Parco delle Valli
Gusto in Musica is the new food and wine event created by TTS Food, a Mela Eventi format, bringing three days of high-quality street food and live entertainment to Parco delle Valli, in the Conca d'Oro neighborhood of Rome's Municipio III. The heart of the event is the Arena Rino Gaetano, an open-air space immersed in greenery that, during the summer, becomes one of the most popular meeting spots in the northern part of the capital, far from the traffic and chaos of the city center.
The culinary offerings are curated by a select brigade of more than twenty street chefs from various Italian regions. The concept goes beyond simple stalls, focusing on gourmet reinterpretations of street food classics: Chianina beef or Scottish beef burgers, pulled Iberian black pork, slow-cooked dishes, and traceable raw ingredients. Alongside specialties from the Lazio region, you will find excellence from the rest of the peninsula.
The gastronomic experience is complemented by a curated drink experience: artisanal raw beer and a Drink Lab created in collaboration with the Campari Group, where expert bartenders prepare signature cocktails and spritzes. The service uses recycled packaging, in line with the commitment to sustainability that characterizes all TTS Food events.
The musical program is designed to change the vibe each night. It kicks off on Friday with the Viteculture Party, a night dedicated to summer energy; continues on Saturday with a DJ set for dancing under the stars; and concludes on Sunday with a concert by Orchestraccia, one of the capital's most beloved bands, known for capturing the Roman spirit with irony and folk sounds. A finale that perfectly summarizes the event's spirit: conviviality, tradition, and lightheartedness.
The area is set up with vibrant lighting, light displays, large areas with tables and seating, relaxation zones, and spaces dedicated to tasting. The free-entry formula and the location in a public park make the event suitable for families with children, who can move safely through the green spaces while adults explore the chef stations.
Gusto in Musica is part of the Roman summer calendar, when the city's parks and arenas host musical and gastronomic festivals of all kinds. Compared to the major events in the historic center, the Parco delle Valli event focuses on a more neighborhood-oriented dimension, with a local audience and accessible prices, yet with a selection of exhibitors of national standing. For those living in Municipio III or the surrounding areasโTalenti, Montesacro, Val Melainaโit is the perfect opportunity for a night out without having to head into the center.
The street food area is free to access. The three musical evenings follow different rules: the Friday concert is ticketed, while the Saturday DJ set and the Sunday concert are free to attend. Opening hours are from 5:00 PM until midnight for all three days.
From July 3 to 5, 2026, Rome's Parco delle Valli hosted the first edition of Gusto in Musica, a format by TTS Food. The Arena Rino Gaetano was set up with vibrant lighting, relaxation areas, and tasting zones, welcoming families, young people, and street food enthusiasts every evening from 5:00 PM to midnight.
The highlight was the work of over twenty street chefs from various Italian regions, offering gourmet reinterpretations of classics: Chianina or Scottish beef burgers, pulled Iberian black pork, Sicilian arancini, Apulian bombette, Abruzzese arrosticini, as well as Mexican, Greek, Indian, American barbecue, and Argentine asado options. A gluten-free area and a dessert zone were also available.
