Jazz without borders in the historic heart of Gubbio
The Gubbio No Borders Festival was born in August 2002 and has quickly earned a prominent position among Italian summer jazz festivals for the quality of its offerings. Organized by the Associazione Jazz Club Gubbio, it takes its name from the idea of transcending all frontiers, both musical and geographical.
The festival is not limited to jazz: over the years, it has expanded its program to include singer-songwriter music, cinema, satire theatre, literature, journalism, photography, and philosophy. This multidisciplinary approach makes it a well-rounded cultural event.
Concerts and meetings take place in the most evocative locations in Gubbio, in the province of Perugia: the cloister of San Pietro, the Roman Theatre, the cloister of Sant'Agostino, and the squares of the historic centre. Over the years, the festival has hosted major national and international jazz names, alongside masterclasses and jam sessions that liven up the Gubbio evenings.
The 2026 edition of the Gubbio No Borders Festival is expected in the summer, following the tradition that has animated Gubbio with jazz concerts and cultural events since 2002. As in previous years, the program is expected to unfold between July and August, with evenings in the cloister of San Pietro, at the Roman Theatre, and in the historic centre squares, complementing jazz with singer-songwriter music, cinema, theatre, literature, and photography.
Currently, the official dates and program for 2026 have not yet been published. Please refer to the official website of the Associazione Jazz Club Gubbio for updates.
