The masked parade of King Carnival in the heart of the Caserta region
In the heart of the Terra di Lavoro, just a few kilometers from the provincial capital, the small town of Casapulla (province of Caserta, Campania) celebrates its most vibrant day of the year with the Great Carnival. It is one of those authentic local festivals where the town center fills with confetti, music, and masks, and where entire families take to the streets to share a day of joy.
The highlight of the event is the grand carnival parade organized by the Pro Loco of Casapulla, led by the King Carnival mask. The procession starts at the Church of Sant'Elpidio and travels through the main streets of the town, drawing citizens and visitors into an atmosphere of celebration and community, eventually reaching Piazza Mercato, the heart of the festivities.

The Pro Loco carnival parade, led by the King Carnival mask, traveled through the town streets to Piazza Mercato, where families and children found a rich entertainment program organized by the Municipal Administration.

Casapulla is located just a few minutes from Caserta. By car, it can be reached via the SS7 Appia or the Caserta Nord exit of the A1 motorway. By train, the reference station is Caserta, connected to Naples and Rome, with bus connections to Casapulla.
The event is free and open to everyone. Wearing a costume is recommended, especially for children who wish to participate in the contest.
