In Giarre, a hamlet of Abano Terme in the province of Padua, the Giarre Festival is the community's summer event, organized by the Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The heart of the festival is Piazza Beata Liduina, which comes alive for several evenings with tables, music, and people of all ages.
A taste of Venetian tradition
The food stand is the highlight of the festival, with dishes from traditional Venetian home cooking:
- Homemade tagliatelle with ragù, tomato, or peas
- Mixed grills and pork knuckle
- Vicentina-style cod, polenta, and fried potatoes
- Homemade desserts
Alongside the food stand, there is a sandwich bar, beer, and musical evenings.
Music, children, and charity
The festival features evening concerts, inflatables and activities for the little ones, and the traditional charity raffle. To close the calendar, at the end of June, the third edition of the musical competition "La Piazza", a showcase for emerging local bands.

The Giarre Festival took place in June 2026 in Piazza Beata Liduina, Giarre hamlet of Abano Terme, organized by the Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The festival was spread over two weekends of food stands (June 12-14 and 19-22) and concluded on June 27-28 with the third edition of the musical competition for emerging bands "La Piazza".

How to get there
Giarre is a hamlet of Abano Terme, reachable by car from the A13 (Terme Euganee exit) or the A4 (Padova Ovest exit); by train to Padua and then by bus. The festival is held in Piazza Beata Liduina.
Period and admission
The festival takes place in June over several weekends, with the food stand open in the evenings. Free admission.
