One of the oldest harvest festivals in the Euganean Hills
The Grape and Wine Festival of Vo' is one of the most deeply rooted food and wine events in the Euganean Hills, in the municipality of Vo' in the province of Padua. Born to celebrate the grape harvest, it accompanies the end of the agricultural season every September with four days of music, culture, peasant traditions, and local wine tastings.
The program intertwines the most evocative places in the town: sunset concerts in the Venetian villas, short film reviews hosted in wineries, walks among the rows of vines, and the Calici in Carrozza (Glasses in a Carriage) tour, which takes visitors by train to discover the wineries. The Villaggio DiVino (Wine Village) brings together local producers to taste Euganean labels, from sparkling Serprino to Fior d'Arancio.
The folkloric heart of the festival is the historic parade of allegorical floats, a tradition that draws thousands of visitors. On Sundays, the Grape Exhibition, with awards for the best bunches, and the grape stomping dedicated to small winemakers, an ancient gesture that evokes the work in the vineyards of the Euganean Hills, are held.
Promoted by the Municipality of Vo' with the involvement of local entities, the festival is much more than a local fair: it is the collective story of a territory where viticulture shapes the landscape and the calendar, and where the community rediscovers its peasant roots every year.
The 2026 edition of the Grape and Wine Festival of Vo', the 72nd, takes place from September 17th to 20th and offers four days dedicated to the harvest of the Euganean Hills. The program alternates sunset concerts in the villas, short film reviews in wineries, the historic parade of allegorical floats, the Grape Exhibition with awards, and traditional grape stomping, accompanied by tastings at Villaggio DiVino featuring Serprino and Fior d'Arancio.
The parade of allegorical floats, the sunrise concert in the vineyards, the Grape Exhibition, and the grape stomping with the little winemakers.
