The regional Pride of Friuli Venezia Giulia returns to Udine
FVG Pride is the regional event for the rights, visibility, and claims of the LGBTQIA+ community of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Organized by FVG Pride ODV, since its debut in 2017 it has traversed the various cities of the region over the years — Udine, Trieste, Gorizia, Pordenone, and Lignano — bringing thousands of people to the squares each time.
In 2026, the parade returns to the Friulian capital after almost ten years since the last city edition (2017). A return full of meaning, accompanied by the slogan "Facing the hostile climate" (in Friulian "Brut timp, ma cumbinìn"), which refers to both the social context and the themes of climate justice.
FVG Pride is not just a parade: it is a space for participation built collectively through open assemblies in the region's cities. Its political manifesto addresses issues such as the self-determination of trans people, inclusive language, bodily autonomy, plural families, access to health and education, LGBTQIA+ rights, climate justice, and peace.
Conferences, assemblies, cultural events, and celebrations involving associations, activists, and citizens from all over the territory revolve around the main parade. A colorful and peaceful event that, despite debates and controversies over sponsorships, has become a point of reference for the region.
After almost ten years, FVG Pride returns to the Friulian capital: the regional parade is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, through the streets of the center of Udine. The date, initially set for September 26th, has been updated to October 3rd.
The chosen slogan is "Facing the hostile climate": a reference to the social context and climate justice. The edition was built through a series of open assemblies in the region's cities (Trieste, Udine, Gorizia, Pordenone) and by signing, including individually, the FVG Pride political manifesto.
The detailed route and times will be announced in the weeks prior on fvgpride.it.
The parade takes place in the streets of the center of Udine, easily reachable on foot from the train station and the main city parking lots.
The event is free and open to everyone. You can support the event by signing the political manifesto, volunteering, or participating in collateral initiatives. Information at fvgpride.it.
