Every year, on a Sunday in April, the small municipality of Frascaro, nestled between the hills of the Monferrato and the Alessandria plains, transforms into a vast flower and plant market. The village streets and the central Piazza Carlo Rangone host over a hundred stalls offering flowers, ornamental and fruit plants, aromatic herbs, gardening tools and supplies, as well as local products, artisanal liqueurs, regional cheeses, amaretti, and handicrafts.

A twenty-five-year history

Founded in 2000 from an idea within the municipal administration, the event has grown year after year to become one of the most anticipated spring appointments in the area. Its strength lies in its village scale: in Frascaro, the fair is not confined to an exhibition area but spreads along the streets and squares of the village, involving residents, associations, and the Pro Loco. It is this authentic atmosphere, combined with the quality of the nurserymen present, that attracts thousands of visitors every year from across the province of Alessandria and the rest of Piedmont.

Alongside the market fair, Frascaro in Fiore offers a rich program of side events.
