The patronal summer feast, with gastronomy, funfair, and fireworks
The Fossalta di Piave Village Festival, in honor of the patrons SS. Ermagora and Fortunato, is the village's patronal feast, in the province of Venice. It generally takes place between late July and early August, around the first Sunday of the month.
The festival enlivens two areas of the village: the Piazza 4 Novembre area and the Casa Gioia oratory. The program includes food stalls with local cuisine, live music, a funfair, and the fireworks display that traditionally marks the end of the feast.
Organized by the municipal administration together with local associations, the festival is one of the most cherished moments of the summer in Fossalta di Piave, a town in the lower Piave area of Venice, linked to the memory of the Great War. An event that brings together residents and visitors for good food and conviviality.
