About Dosson Festival
A Tradition of Over Forty Years
The Dosson Festival is the historic parish festival of Dosson di Casier, a hamlet in the Municipality of Casier, province of Treviso. Reaching its 46th edition in 2025, it is one of the most deeply rooted village festivals in the area, capable of mobilizing dozens of volunteers every September and attracting thousands of people from the surrounding areas.
Gastronomy at the Heart
The heart of the festival is the gastronomic stand set up in Via Enrico Fermi, opposite the sports fields, open every evening from 7 PM. The menu draws from Venetian tradition with first courses such as gnocchi and tagliolini (with tomato sauce, ragù, or duck sauce) and a rich selection of main courses: cod, cuttlefish, mixed grills, grilled chicken, ribs and sausages, cheese and polenta, tripe. Alongside the main stand, the youth kiosk "Chio.Do" offers hot sandwiches, pizzas, and aperitifs without reservation.
A Festival of Solidarity
The Dosson Festival retains its parish spirit: the charity raffle and the entire event have a solidarity purpose, with proceeds destined to support the parish and its initiatives for the community's youth. Musical evenings, dancing, and entertainment complete a program that makes this festival an anticipated event of September in the Treviso area.
Dosson Festival — edition 2026
After the 46th edition in 2025, the Dosson Festival is preparing for its forty-seventh edition in 2026. The festival is an annual September event, recurring and well-established. The precise dates for 2026 have not yet been released, but based on past editions, the gastronomic stand in Via Enrico Fermi (open every evening from 7 PM), traditional Venetian first and second courses, the "Chio.Do" youth kiosk, the charity raffle for a good cause, and the musical and dancing evenings are expected.
