Formaggetta is a fresh cheese typical of Ligurian tradition, produced for generations in the valleys behind the coast: the festival makes it the absolute protagonist.

The festival is held at the beginning of summer, traditionally on the first weekend of July, and takes place in the charming setting of the Orco hamlet, in the shade of chestnut trees. The stands of the Pro Loco San Lorenzo offer Ligurian formaggetta and other local specialities, accompanied by quality wines, in a convivial and relaxed village festival atmosphere.
The hinterland behind Finale
A few kilometres from the sea of Finale Ligure, Orco Feglino is a municipality that preserves an authentic rural identity, made up of woods, paths, and gastronomic traditions. The Formaggetta Festival is the perfect opportunity to discover this corner of the Savona hinterland, away from the crowds on the beaches, in one of the most beautiful seasons of the year.

For 2026, the Formaggetta Festival is renewed in the hamlet of Orco in Orco Feglino, following the tradition that places it at the beginning of July. The Pro Loco San Lorenzo re-offers Ligurian formaggetta and other local specialities, accompanied by quality wines, in the charming setting in the shade of chestnut trees.

Orco Feglino can be reached from the A10 motorway, Feglino or Finale Ligure exit, continuing inland. The hamlet of Orco is located along the valley.
