Every year, in mid-May, the center of Migliarino — a hamlet of the Fiscaglia Municipality, in the low plains of the Ferrara province — transforms into a large open-air garden. The Flower and Honey Fair is one of the most beloved spring events in the Ferrara area: a day dedicated to the colors, scents, and rebirth of the floral season, but also to the beekeeping and agricultural traditions of the territory.
What you will find at the fair
Along the streets and squares of the town, a large exhibition market brings together about seventy exhibitors from various Italian regions. The fair showcases a wide variety of offerings:
- Flowers and plants for the garden and vegetable patch, from nurseries and floriculturists;
- Honey and beehive products, with beekeeping equipment;
- Farmers' market and typical products from the Ferrara countryside;
- Creative crafts and ancient crafts;
- Exhibitions dedicated to gardening, sports, and leisure;
- Food stalls with local specialties, open for lunch and dinner.
A showcase for the territory
The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Migliarino in agreement with the Municipality of Fiscaglia and with the collaboration of local merchants, artisans, and farmers. More than just a market, the Flower Fair is considered an important showcase for the businesses and enterprises of the area, capable of attracting thousands of visitors to Migliarino from the province of Ferrara and the entire Emilia-Romagna region.
An event rooted in tradition
Now in its twenty-fourth edition in 2026, the fair is a classic of the spring calendar in the lower Ferrara region. The inauguration traditionally takes place near the flower fountain, the symbolic heart of the event, around which cultural, musical, and entertainment initiatives revolve throughout the day.

The twenty-fourth edition of the Flower and Honey Fair was held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in the center of Migliarino, a hamlet of Fiscaglia, in the province of Ferrara. The tried-and-tested formula was confirmed: exhibitors of flowers and plants for gardens and vegetable patches, honey producers and beekeeping equipment, a farmers' market, creative crafts, exhibitions of equipment, sports, and leisure, as well as food stalls open for lunch and dinner.
The novelty of 2026 was the first edition of "Miss Queen of Flowers", featuring a fashion show by designer Marchesa Farinelli dedicated to Botticelli-inspired feminine beauty: long dresses rich with flowers, parasols opened on the shoulders recalling Monet's paintings, and models of diverse ages, heights, and origins, embodying an inclusive idea of beauty.

- Morning — Fair opening: floral exhibition (gardening and vegetable patch), honey and beekeeping equipment, farmers' market, crafts, and ancient trades along the streets and squares of the town center.
- Inauguration at the flower fountain, the heart of the event.
- Afternoon — First edition of "Miss Queen of Flowers": fashion show by designer Marchesa Farinelli dedicated to Botticelli-inspired feminine beauty, with awards for Miss Elegance, Miss Congeniality, and Miss Queen of Flowers.
- Throughout the day — Food stalls with local specialties, open for lunch and dinner.

Migliarino is located along the SS16 Adriatica state road, about 25 km from Ferrara. It is easily accessible by car from Ferrara and the Comacchio coast; parking areas are set up near the center during the fair.
