Arenzano dresses up for spring

Every April, the town of Arenzano (Province of Genoa) celebrates spring with FlorArte, a floral and nursery event now in its twenty-fifth edition in 2026. The heart of the festival is the park of Villa Negrotto Cambiaso with its Monumental Greenhouse, one of the most fascinating places on the Genoese Riviera di Ponente, which for three days is filled with flowers, colours, and cultural offerings.

Between Flower Market and art

FlorArte intertwines nature and creativity: the Flower Market brings together over fifty exhibitors including selected nurserymen, artisans, and artists, while a gastronomic market offers local produce. In the Monumental Greenhouse, there is a painting exhibition — in 2026, it will be by Simone Brillarelli, "Ricordati di vivere!" (Remember to live!), conceived as a living organism in continuous transformation — alongside a botanical installation with a dialogue between East and West.

Workshops, music, and theatre

The programme includes artistic and botanical workshops, the Flower Music Festival, guided tours, theatrical performances, activities for children, and art walks. Organised by the Municipality of Arenzano with the Beigua Park (UNESCO Global Geopark) and the Liguria Region, FlorArte is a celebration that combines sensory pleasure with the discovery of the area's natural and artistic heritage.
