Fior di Cacio – Rassegna dei Formaggi della Valnerina

The 2025 edition of Fior di Cacio animated the alleys of Vallo di Nera, in Valnerina, province of Perugia, with its festival dedicated to the region's raw milk cheeses. Tastings, cheesemaking workshops, pairings with Umbrian wines curated by ONAF, and iconic moments like the giant ricotta marked the weekend.

Beyond cheese, the village also offered nature experiences — excursions, activities on the Nera river, walks — and performances, confirming the formula that combines food and wine, pastoral culture, and the discovery of Valnerina. The event is organized by the Municipality of Vallo di Nera with the Pro Loco (local tourism board) and local stakeholders.
