The zucchini flower festival on the shores of Lake Fimon
The Fimon Festival takes place in Fimon di Arcugnano, a hamlet of the municipality of Arcugnano, in the province of Vicenza, on the shores of Lake Fimon, in the heart of the Berici Hills. The festival's unique feature is the celebration of zucchini flowers, a delicate ingredient that becomes the star of numerous dishes served at the food stand.
For several evenings, the food stand offers specialties made with zucchini flowers alongside traditional Venetian dishes. Each evening, the festival is accompanied by music, a charity raffle, a youth bar, and bouncy castles for children, fostering a convivial atmosphere typical of the Berici Hills festivals.
Lake Fimon is one of the oldest natural lakes in the Veneto region and an oasis of great naturalistic value, nestled in the landscape of the Berici Hills just a few kilometers from Vicenza. The festival is an opportunity to discover this corner of the Vicenza area, where good food meets the beauty of the lakeside environment.
The Fimon Festival returns in July 2026 to the hamlet of Fimon di Arcugnano, on Lake Fimon. The festival will again feature the food stand with zucchini flower specialties, accompanied by evenings of music, a charity raffle, a youth bar, and bouncy castles for children.
The precise dates (in recent years, the festival has been held in mid-July) and the detailed program will be announced by the Pro Loco of Arcugnano closer to the event.
