About Superbike Misano

Three days of pure adrenaline at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, in Misano Adriatico, Rimini province: the Emilia-Romagna Round of the FIM Superbike World Championship brings the world's best production-derived motorcycle racers to the track. Free practice and qualifying on Friday, followed by a weekend of official races including Superpole, Superpole Race, and the two World Superbike races, alongside the Supersport and World Women's Championship classes. A celebration of motorcycling on the Adriatic Riviera.

The Superbike World Championship on the Adriatic Riviera

The Emilia-Romagna Round of the FIM Superbike World Championship is one of the most anticipated events of the entire production-derived motorcycle racing season. It takes place at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, a 4.226-kilometer track overlooking the Adriatic Sea in the municipality of Misano Adriatico, Rimini province. For an entire weekend, the Romagna circuit becomes the center of the two-wheel world for enthusiasts, with thousands of spectators in the stands and the paddock.

A Weekend of High Intensity

The program follows the classic Superbike World Championship structure: Friday opens with free practice and the qualifying session, while Saturday and Sunday are dedicated to the official races. The heart of the weekend includes the Superpole, the short and spectacular Sunday morning Superpole Race, and the two long World Superbike races, where riders battle with speed, skill, and daring overtakes. Alongside the premier class, the World Supersport and the FIM Women's Circuit Racing World Championship also compete, as well as national championship races.

The Charm of the Marco Simoncelli Circuit

The track is named after Marco Simoncelli, the rider from Romagna who tragically passed away in 2011, and is one of the symbolic venues of Italian motorcycling. Its location on the Riviera, just a few minutes from Riccione, Cattolica, and Rimini, makes it an ideal destination: follow the races by day and enjoy the sea and the Romagna nightlife in the evening. The Misano World Circuit also hosts the MotoGP San Marino Grand Prix every year, confirming its international prestige.

Grandstands, Paddock, and Experience

The event offers various access options, from covered and uncovered grandstands to general admission tickets, and paddock access which allows you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the pits, see bikes and mechanics up close, and meet the championship protagonists. Special rates and packages are available for families and young people. The Emilia-Romagna round has been among the most-watched events on the world calendar for years, a testament to the deep connection between this territory and motorcycling.
