FICO! Short Supply Chain and Peasant Food

The second edition of FICO! Short Supply Chain and Peasant Food, organized by Salento Km0, brought the Laboratorio Urbano To Kalò Fai in Zollino to life on Monday, May 19, 2025. The evening offered a rich blend of market, culture, and music, all inspired by the biodiversity and peasant culture of Salento.

Opening at 6:30 PM, the biodiversity market featured small local producers and artisans. Following this were the photo exhibition «A Fuoco Lento — Salento Death Valley» with a talk on horticulture, the «Forks and Pitchforks» dialogue on ecofeminism, the «For Future Memory» installation dedicated to seeds and agricultural heritage, and, in closing, the «Baraonda» world music jam session. The biodiverse tavern was open all evening with traditional local dishes.
