Radicarti was born in 2026 as a festival of active citizenship in the village of Montefiore dell'Aso, in the Province of Ascoli Piceno, in the Marche region. The name itself plays on words: putting down roots in the territory and giving space to the arts, in a municipality that is part of the circuit of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy and which houses masterpieces such as the famous Polyptych by Carlo Crivelli.

On-site organization is entrusted to the Collettivo Ventisette, a local youth association. The project aims to foster environmental awareness and civic engagement among the youth of the Piceno area.

Radicarti — edition 2026
The inaugural 2026 edition of Radicarti marks the birth of a new active citizenship festival in Montefiore dell'Aso, in the heart of the Province of Ascoli Piceno. The event was officially presented on May 15, 2026, as part of the village's summer calendar, and is the first concrete event of the European S.T.A.Y. project coordinated by Legambiente Marche APS with the organizational direction of Collettivo Ventisette.

By car: from the A14 motorway, take the Pedaso exit, then follow the SP for Valdaso towards Montefiore dell'Aso. The nearest train station is Pedaso, on the Adriatic line, from which you can continue by bus or taxi to the village.
