Music that flows on the waves of Sebino

The Festival Onde Musicali sul Lago d'Iseo is one of the most original musical reviews in Lombardy: over sixty concerts that, from late May to early September, liven up the villages, islands, churches, and even the historic boats of Sebino, between the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia and Franciacorta. Directed by Maestro Claudio Piastra, the event ranges from classical music to opera, from chamber music to tango, from jazz to crossover, with the participation of established artists, young talents from Conservatories, and winners of international competitions.

The Costa Volpino stop

On the Bergamo side of the lake, the Municipality of Costa Volpino (province of Bergamo) hosts the festival at the Baia delle Rose, a panoramic spot overlooking the water. Here, in the 2026 edition, the concert by the Rapsodia Saxophone Quartet is scheduled, a group that brings the versatility of the saxophone quartet between classical repertoire and original arrangements. The concert takes place in the evening, with the lake as a natural backdrop.

A widespread and free festival

The strength of Onde Musicali lies in its itinerant and popular nature: almost all concerts are free admission, designed to bring the general public closer to classical music in places of great beauty. Seven concerts in the 2026 edition are even held aboard the historic Motonave Capitanio from 1926, the oldest boat on the lake, which shuttles between the lakeside villages.
