The Festival of the Patron Saints is the village festival of the hamlet of Grumolo Pedemonte, in the municipality of Zugliano (province of Vicenza). It is a festival with a long tradition, having surpassed 38 editions, organized by the Grumolo Pedemonte Festival Committee and linked to the feast of the hamlet's Patron Saints.
The specialty that makes it famous is polenta e musso, donkey stew served with polenta, a typical dish of Vicenza's peasant cuisine and the absolute star of the food stand. Evenings of live music and dancing revolve around the table, along with religious traditions related to the patron saints.
It is an authentic and identity-rich festival, which every summer draws the inhabitants of the hamlet and visitors from neighboring towns, united by the pleasure of good food and conviviality.
Festival of the Patron Saints — edition 2026
The Festival of the Patron Saints of Grumolo Pedemonte 2026, expected as the 39th edition, will take place in July in the hamlet of Grumolo Pedemonte in Zugliano (VI). After the 38th edition in 2025 (July 18-22), the festival returns with its established format: a food stand with the specialty polenta e musso, evenings of live music and dancing, and moments of religious tradition related to the patron saints. The exact dates will be announced by the Festival Committee closer to the event.
