About Festival of Saint Urban

Every year, around September 8th, Altavilla Vicentina celebrates its patron saint Urban I, pope and martyr. The patronal feast combines the religious moment – the solemn Mass and the procession in honor of the saint – with community events that liven up the town, at the foot of the Berici Hills and a few kilometers from Vicenza. A traditional event that brings together the inhabitants of the town and its hamlets in remembrance of the patron saint.
