The Village of the Peach

The Festa dei Pèrsech is the heart of summer in Collebeato, a municipality in the province of Brescia nestled in the hills north of the city. The name, in dialect, refers to the peach: the "Pèrsech dé Cobiàt" is indeed the typical fruit of the village, cultivated here for generations. The festival, which celebrates this tradition, has ancient origins: it dates back to 1919, a sign of a deep bond between Collebeato and its peach.

Eleven Days of Taste

For over a week, the village comes alive with a packed schedule of events. The absolute protagonist is the local peach, offered fresh and in the form of jams, sweets, and specialties. Alongside tastings, the festival offers music, shows, and entertainment for all ages, in a convivial atmosphere that attracts visitors from Brescia and neighboring towns.

A Festival by the Pro Loco

The organization is entrusted to the Pro Loco Collebeato APS, active in the area since 1995, which curates the event with passion every year. The Festa dei Pèrsech is not just a food festival: it is an identity event that tells the agricultural history of the village and renews its traditions, involving the entire community.
