The culture of legality on the road through Molise, starting from Isernia
The Festival of Law is the event that, starting from Isernia, the capital of Molise, makes legal culture and legality a shared heritage. Conceived and directed by lawyer Luigi Fantini, the festival combines meetings, testimonies, and debates aimed at citizens, legal professionals, and especially young people, involved through schools and universities in Molise.
The eighth edition, in 2026, marks a turning point: for the first time, the festival becomes itinerant and travels across the entire region, starting from Isernia on April 16th to continue in Campobasso (April 21st), Termoli (April 28th), and Agnone (May 5th), with an extraordinary event scheduled in Vatican City.
The common thread for 2026 is 'Silence is complicity, reporting is a right', an invitation to recognize reporting as an act of civil responsibility. The event is accredited by the main professional bodies (Bar Association of Isernia, Campobasso, and Larino, Order of Psychologists, Notarial Council of Molise, Order of Journalists of Molise) and supported by local entities such as the Pontifical Marinelli Foundry, which awards a special bronze prize, a symbol of Molise's artisanal excellence.
The 8th edition of the Festival of Law opened in Isernia on April 16, 2026, its first itinerant journey through Molise, on the theme 'Silence is complicity, reporting is a right'. After the official presentation on April 7th in the Sala Raucci of the Municipality of Isernia, the event continued in Campobasso (April 21st), Termoli (April 28th), and Agnone (May 5th), with an extraordinary event in Vatican City.
The edition involved professional bodies, schools (including ISIS Fermi-Mattei of Isernia), and the University of Molise, with the presence of distinguished guests such as Professor Vittorino Andreoli. The Pontifical Marinelli Foundry awarded the traditional special bronze prize.
The first itinerant edition throughout Molise; the presence of Prof. Vittorino Andreoli; the bronze prize from the Pontifical Marinelli Foundry.
The Isernia leg takes place in venues in the center of Isernia, reachable by car via the SS17 and SS650 Trignina roads and by train on the Rome-Campobasso-Isernia line.
Meetings are generally free to attend; for professionals, many events are accredited for continuing education purposes. Consult the official program for the locations and times of individual stops.
