About Fuoribosco
A festival among the woods and hamlets
Fuoribosco is the summer festival that rediscovers and enhances the mountains and hills of Schio, in the Alto Vicentino area of the province of Vicenza. The idea is simple and fascinating: to bring culture, music, and storytelling to often little-known places — the Tretto Plateau, Monte Magrè, Monte Novegno, the historic hamlets (contrade), and the panoramic trails of the Vicenza Prealps.
Art and landscape
The program intertwines different genres and languages: dawn concerts, immersive sound experiences, nature excursions, historical walks, and scientific storytelling accompanied by music. Each event is designed for a specific location, so that the landscape becomes an integral part of the performance.

Promoted by the Municipality of Schio, Fuoribosco is free entry (subject to availability). It is an invitation to experience the mountains in a slow and cultural way, far from the crowds, immersed in the beauty of the Vicenza Prealps.
Fuoribosco — edition 2026
The Festival Fuoribosco 2026 renews its summer offering between culture and nature on the hills and mountains of Schio. For 2026, dawn concerts, immersive excursions, historical walks, and scientific narratives with music are expected, spread between June and September in the most evocative locations of Tretto, Monte Magrè, and Monte Novegno. Free entry subject to availability.
Programme Fuoribosco 2026
The detailed calendar for the 2026 edition will be published by the Municipality of Schio and on Visit Schio. Based on previous editions, the festival will consist of about ten events between late June and early September, each linked to a specific location in the hilly and mountainous territory: dawn concerts, immersive sound experiences, nature excursions (including by e-bike), historical walks, and scientific narratives with music. All events are free until full capacity.

How to get there
Events take place in the hilly and mountainous hamlets and districts of Schio (Tretto, Monte Magrè, Monte Novegno, Poleo). By car from the centre of Schio, follow the signs for the individual locations. Some events require reaching them on foot or by e-bike.
