Every year, on June 29th, Schio celebrates its patron saint, San Pietro, with a grand festival that enlivens the historic centre for a long weekend. It is one of the most significant events for the city in the Alto Vicentino area, in the province of Vicenza, blending devotion, culture, and conviviality.
Three Days of Celebration
The typical programme spans three days of concerts, art exhibitions, urban picnics, and dinners under the stars. It usually kicks off with a concert in Piazza Alessandro Rossi with a DJ set, while the festival day itself is marked by Holy Mass, cultural initiatives, and the grand fireworks display from the Tajara del Castello, the most anticipated moment, around 11 PM.
