Roman street food takes center stage at the Textile Museum Park
The Festival della Carbonara — Roman Cuisine is the street food event that brings the flavors of the Capital to Busto Arsizio, in the province of Varese. Set in the green surroundings of the Textile Museum Park, on Via Volta, it's a gastronomic celebration dedicated to the great classics of Roman tradition.
The undisputed queen is carbonara, joined by other pillars of Roman cuisine: gricia, amatriciana, cacio e pepe. There are also typical appetizers and street foods — supplì, pinsa, carciofi alla giudia — and specialties like coda alla vaccinara and porchetta di Ariccia, up to desserts like maritozzi. All prepared by street chefs and accompanied by a selection of craft beers.
In addition to the gastronomic offerings, the festival features live music and entertainment for all ages, in a convivial atmosphere with ample seating areas to enjoy the dishes. The evenings are enlivened by concerts and DJ sets that accompany the discovery of Roman flavors.
With free entry and no reservation required, the Festival della Carbonara has established itself as one of the most anticipated street food events of the Busto Arsizio summer, attracting fans of Roman cuisine and families from all over the Alto Milanese region to the Textile Museum Park.
