A weekend of taste in the center of Parabiago
Artisans of Taste is the market exhibition that enlivens Piazza del Mercato in Parabiago, in the province of Milan, every September, in the area between via San Michele and via Thaon de Revel. For a few days, the square becomes a gastronomic and artisanal village that attracts visitors from all over the Alto Milanese region.
The flavors of Italy in the square
The heart of the event is food and wine: along the stalls, you will find cured meats, cheeses, honey, preserves, and typical sweets from various Italian regions, selected from small artisanal productions. Alongside the stalls, on-site kitchens and international street food stands offer dishes to be enjoyed while seated, indoors or outdoors, accompanied by craft beers and drinks.
Not just food: workshops and entertainment
Artisans of Taste is designed for all ages. The program includes free workshops — such as learning to prepare Apulian orecchiette — entertainment for children with face painting, baby dance, bubble shows, and creative workshops, as well as live musical performances. For the little ones, there is a funfair with rides and inflatables.
A festival promoted by the territory
The event is organized by the cultural and artistic association Iperbole together with Eventi Doc and with the patronage of the Municipality of Parabiago. Admission is free, in line with the spirit of a festival open to all that values the crafts of taste and the city center of Parabiago.
Artisans of Taste — edition 2026
In 2026, Artisans of Taste returns in late September to Piazza del Mercato in Parabiago, reviving the formula of the gastronomic and artisanal market exhibition. Stalls with typical products from all over Italy, on-site kitchens and international street food, free workshops, entertainment for children, and a funfair will liven up the city center. The precise date will be confirmed by the organizers in the weeks prior, following the model of the 2025 edition held from September 26th to 28th.

How to get there
Parabiago is in the province of Milan, served by the train station on the Milan-Domodossola line (Trenord) and the A8 motorway. Piazza del Mercato is located in the center, between via San Michele and via Thaon de Revel.
Opening hours and admission
Free admission. The exhibition area is typically open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 8 pm; the kitchens and street food continue until late evening (Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday).
