Antiques, collectibles and reuse along the main street, every second Sunday
The Mercato dell'Antiquariato di Villafranca is a regular event in the calendar of Villafranca di Verona: every second Sunday of the month (except August), the historic center transforms into a large open-air market for antiques, collectibles, and modern items. Along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, Corso Garibaldi, and Via Pace, over a hundred exhibitors from all over Northern Italy set up their stalls.
Among the stalls, you can find antique furniture, vinyl records, rare books, old cameras, toys, cassettes, ceramics, paintings, collectible items, and curiosities from every era. It's the realm of antique and vintage enthusiasts, but also for those simply looking for a unique piece or an unobtainable item, in an atmosphere of a Sunday stroll through the heart of the Scaliger town.
Promoted by the Municipality of Villafranca di Verona, the market enlivens the city center all day long, from morning to late afternoon, with free admission. In addition to attracting collectors and curious visitors from the entire province of Verona, it contributes to enhancing the historic center and its commercial activities, in a combination of reuse culture and city life.
Throughout 2026, the Mercato dell'Antiquariato di Villafranca will punctually return on the second Sunday of each month, with the usual break in August. The scheduled dates are: January 11, February 8, March 8, April 12, May 10, June 14, September 13, October 11, November 8, and December 13.
