La Rosa di Villafranca is a non-competitive walk held at Parco del Tione in Villafranca di Verona, dedicated to solidarity, prevention, and women's health. As part of the «Verona in Rosa» program, the event transforms a stroll or light run into a concrete gesture of support: the funds raised are donated to associations active in the women's sector.
Two routes for everyone
The event offers two routes, 6 and 12 km, accessible to all and available from 8:00 AM. There are no rankings or competition: the goal is to walk together, traverse the green spaces of Parco del Tione, and foster encounters between people of different generations, promoting prevention and the right to sport for all.
Sport that builds networks
Organized by UISP Comitato Territoriale Verona together with Gruppo Podistico Miglioranza, Unione Marciatori Veronesi, and with the support of the Municipality of Villafranca di Verona, La Rosa di Villafranca unites the world of Veronese sports associations around a message of solidarity. A young but already established event, it brings the values of the pink walk to the Veronese plain.

The 2026 edition — the 2nd — of La Rosa di Villafranca takes place on Sunday, October 4, at Parco del Tione in Villafranca di Verona. Two routes are offered, 6 and 12 km, accessible to all and available from 8:00 AM. The event, part of the Verona in Rosa program, combines sport and solidarity, donating the funds raised to associations working in the women's sphere.

How to get there
Parco del Tione is located in Villafranca di Verona, about 15 km from Verona. By car: A4 (Sommacampagna exit) or A22. Villafranca train station on the Verona–Mantova line.
