The celebrations for the patron saint of Barzano in Piazza Mercato
The Festa Patronale di San Vito Martire is the event that every year celebrates the patron saint of Barzano, in the province of Lecco. The liturgical anniversary falls on June 15th, and the civil and religious celebrations of the town are concentrated around this date.
The heart of the celebrations is Piazza Mercato, which hosts live concerts, award ceremonies, screenings, and tournaments. The program alternates musical evenings with initiatives designed to involve families and young people, in a festival that combines the traditional dimension with a more convivial one.
The organization is managed by the Pro Loco of Barzano, which each year builds a calendar of free-entry events. The San Vito festival is thus an opportunity for the community to come together and for visitors to discover a village in Brianza lecchese during its most heartfelt festival.
