Beolco Fest is the summer theatre festival that enlivens the hamlet of Beolco in Olgiate Molgora, in the province of Lecco. A free-entry event that brings shows outdoors in a small village in the Lecco Brianza, in a secluded and familiar atmosphere, far from the big stages but rich in quality and care.
Four evenings of words and music
The program features four events ranging from comedy theatre to poetic-musical recitals, up to contemporary theatre performances. Alongside the shows, there are workshops and guided tours, such as the one to the hamlet's church, which enrich the experience. In case of bad weather, events move to the shelter of the San Giuseppe oratory theatre.
A community festival
The public is invited to experience the festival informally: you can bring your own chair, and before the shows, a refreshment stand with beer and sandwiches is available. Capacity is limited and entry is by reservation. Supported by foundations and local organizations, Beolco Fest is an example of how even a small hamlet in Brianza can become a place of culture and meeting during the summer.
Beolco Fest — edition 2026
From June 12 to July 3, 2026, the hamlet of Beolco in Olgiate Molgora hosts Beolco Fest, with four evenings of open-air summer theatre with free admission. The shows range from comedy to poetic-musical recitals, to contemporary theatre.
The refreshment stand with beer and sandwiches opens before the shows; in case of rain, events move to the San Giuseppe oratory theatre. Capacity is limited and entry is by reservation ([email protected]).

- Friday, June 12 — Così lontano così Ticino, comedy with Davide Maranchelli and Stefano Panzeri
- Friday, June 19 — 8:00 PM bonsai workshop; 9:00 PM poetic-musical recital Chavela, el lamento del volcàn
- Friday, June 26 — Frankenstein by LaTache21 and Teatro Sociale di Bellinzona, with guided tours of the hamlet's church
- Friday, July 3 — Quel maledetto giorno, on women's work through two plays
Refreshments with beer and sandwiches from 8:00 PM before the shows. Free entry by reservation, limited seats.
