The patron saint of a tiny village

Blello is one of the smallest municipalities in the province of Bergamo: a few dozen inhabitants clinging to the slopes of Monte Faggio, in the Brembana Valley. Although the parish church is dedicated to the Santissima Annunciata, the civil patron saint of the town is Saint Bartholomew the Apostle, celebrated on August 24th, as confirmed by sources on the patron saints of the municipalities of Bergamo.
