The Gratosoglio neighbourhood festival centred around its parish church
In the Gratosoglio neighbourhood, at the southern end of Milan (Municipality 5), the Parish Church of San Barnaba on via Achille Feraboli is the community's focal point. Every year, the neighbourhood gathers around its patronal festival, on a day that blends religious, popular, and oratory dimensions.
The festival combines the liturgical celebration for the patron saint with the accompanying social events: the traditional sale of biscuits, taralli, and sweets, oratory tournaments, and activities involving families and young people. It is also an occasion to present the Summer Oratory, a sign of the parish community's vitality throughout the year.
The event is promoted by the Pastoral Community Visitazione della Beata Vergine Maria, of which the parish of San Barnaba is a part. More than a large city event, the Festa di San Barnaba is a local celebration, an expression of Gratosoglio's identity within the Metropolitan City of Milan.
The parish confirms the Festa Patronale di San Barnaba for Sunday, June 7, 2026. The day is part of a weekend of events for the oratory and the Gratosoglio community.
Any further events will be announced by the parish.
