The festival of the Favaro community
The Festa di Maggio in Favaro Veneto was born in 1998 and has become one of the most anticipated events in the Venetian mainland. It takes place in the spaces of the Parish of Sant'Andrea Apostolo, on Via Altinia, and has the authentic character of a village festival: a meeting point for families and different generations, built thanks to the work of volunteers from the parish community.
Almost a month of events
From mid-May to early June, the festival offers a rich calendar: concerts and musical evenings with bands and tribute bands, shows, dance, and entertainment. The heart of the event is the food stall with traditional Venetian dishes, alongside craft markets on weekends. A formula that combines conviviality, good food, and music for all ages.
A reality of the municipality of Venice
Favaro Veneto is a populous mainland district of the municipality of Venice, far from the lagoon image of the city but equally vibrant in its traditions. The Festa di Maggio represents its community identity, capable of attracting thousands of people each year from the neighborhood and nearby centers, in support of parish activities.

The Festa di Maggio 2026, now in its 27th edition, enlivens the Parish of Sant'Andrea Apostolo in Favaro Veneto from May 13 to June 3. Almost a month of events including concerts, shows, dance, Venetian food stalls, and craft markets, with a Grand Finale on June 3.

- Thursday, May 21 — Parish Music Workshop recital (6:30 PM) and show "La Mente di Tetsuya" (9:00 PM)
- Friday, May 22 — concert by Aidia Band (9:00 PM)
- Saturday, May 23 — live performance by Red Hot Chili Beppe's (9:00 PM)
- Sunday, May 24 — Country Wings (9:00 PM)
- Craft market on weekends (May 30-31 and June 1-2)
- Monday, June 1 — concert by Circolo Vizioso (9:30 PM)
- Tuesday, June 2 — concert by Spazio&Tempo (9:00 PM)
- Wednesday, June 3 (Grand Finale) — 60s-80s music with I Ragazzi di Ieri (9:00 PM)

How to get there
Favaro Veneto can be reached from the Venetian mainland by car (Favaro exit from the ring road) or by ACTV buses from Mestre. The festival takes place at the Parish of Sant'Andrea Apostolo, in Via Altinia 125.
