The Sagra del Preziosissimo Sangue di Gesù is the big summer festival of Marcon, a municipality in the metropolitan city of Venice. Organized by the Parish of San Giorgio Martire, it takes place in Piazza IV Novembre between the end of June and the beginning of July, animating the town center for several evenings.
Music, food, and funfair
The program alternates musical and dancing evenings with live orchestras and bands with family fun. The gastronomic stand offers traditional Venetian specialties, from bigoli in salsa to fried fish, while the funfair entertains the little ones for the entire duration of the festival. There is also a bar with drinks and ice cream.
Lottery and fireworks
The heart of the festival is also the parish lottery, the proceeds of which support the activities of the Marcon parish. The event traditionally concludes with a fireworks display that lights up the town's sky, welcomed by residents and visitors from the province of Venice.

How to get there
Marcon can be reached by car from the Tangenziale di Mestre with the Marcon exit, along the E55 towards Trieste. It is also connected from Mestre by ACTV public buses. Marcon-Gaggio train station is on the Venice-Treviso line.
Admission and times
Free admission. The gastronomic stand and funfair generally open in the evening. The festival takes place in Piazza IV Novembre.
