The festival of the Catene district
Catene in Festa is the traditional festival of the Catene district in Marghera, on the mainland of Venice, organized by the Parrocchia Madonna della Salute (Parish of Our Lady of Health). For about two weeks, Parco Catene, located on Via Trieste, becomes the community's meeting point, with a rich program of food, music, and activities.
Food stands and conviviality
The heart of the festival is the food stand, open every evening, where you can enjoy traditional dishes in a convivial atmosphere. There is also a charity raffle, a wine bar, and a café, which liven up the evenings along with the public of all ages.
Musical evenings and tribute bands
The schedule features numerous musical evenings, with performances by local bands and tribute bands dedicated to the greats of Italian and international music. The festival also includes tournaments, board games, dance school performances, and parish choirs, as well as screenings of major sporting events on a big screen.

Catene in Festa — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Catene in Festa enlivens the Parco Catene in Marghera from May 22 to June 2, organized by the Madonna della Salute Parish of Catene. The food stand is open every evening from 7 PM, alongside a charity raffle, wine bar, and café.
The program features numerous musical evenings with tribute bands: "Bollicine" (Vasco Rossi tribute), "Asia Band" (Nomadi tribute), and "Merqurya" (Queen tribute), as well as performances by dance schools, parish choirs, chess tournaments, board games with "La Tana del Goblin," and the Champions League final on a big screen.

How to get there
Parco Catene is located at Via Trieste 140, in Marghera. It can be reached by car from the Mestre ring road or by ACTV bus from the centre of Mestre and Marghera.
