The Alpini festival of Noventa

The Festa Alpina di Primavera is the season-opening event organised by the 'Umberto Masotto' Alpini Group of Noventa Vicentina, a municipality in the province of Vicenza in the Bassa Vicentina area. It takes place at the Baita degli Alpini (Alpini Hut), the group's headquarters, and represents one of the most cherished moments of the Noventa 'penne nere' activities.

Alpine music and cuisine

For four days, the hut hosts a rich gastronomic stand, featuring typical Venetian and Alpine dishes prepared by the group's volunteers, and live music evenings that liven up the festival. The atmosphere is the convivial and familiar one typical of Alpine festivals, where good food and company combine with the spirit of service and solidarity that distinguishes the Alpini.

Tradition and community

The Festa Alpina di Primavera is much more than a local festival (sagra): it is an occasion for the community of Noventa Vicentina and supporters of the group to meet, and it helps to fund the numerous volunteer and solidarity activities that the Alpini carry out throughout the year.
