The city that sings, plays, and dances
The Festa della Musica di Todi is the summer event that brings music to the stones of the medieval city, in the province of Perugia. Inspired by the European Fête de la Musique, it is a widespread event: concerts are not held in a single location but multiply in squares, streets, courtyards, terraces, and gardens of the historic centre, creating an informal musical itinerary that invites exploration of Todi by following the sounds.
Genres and performers
The programme is deliberately diverse, encompassing folk, jazz, bossa nova, swing, and opera, with incursions into dance and other cultural traditions, from flamenco onwards. Local musicians perform alongside artists from various parts of the world, in a spirit of musical relay that makes every corner of the city a small stage.
A free and participatory festival
Organised by the Centro Studi Della Giacoma with the patronage of the Municipality of Todi, the Festa della Musica is entirely free and open to the public. It is a perfect opportunity to experience Todi's historic centre in a festive and popular atmosphere, with notes resonating late into the evening along Corso Cavour, in Piazza del Popolo, and in the city's most evocative locations.

The 2026 edition celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Festa della Musica di Todi. From June 18 to 21, the historic centre becomes a widespread stage, with local artists and performers from around the world taking part in a grand musical relay. The programme blends folk, jazz, bossa nova, swing, and opera, with incursions into flamenco and other dance traditions, in squares, streets, courtyards, terraces, and gardens.

The tenth edition unfolds over four days of free concerts distributed among Todi's squares, streets, courtyards, terraces, and gardens. The 2026 programme features performances spanning various genres:
- Folk, jazz, bossa nova, and swing
- Opera and choral music
- Dance performances, including flamenco

How to get here
Todi is reachable by car from the E45 (Todi exit). Concerts take place in the squares and streets of the historic centre, including Piazza del Popolo, Corso Cavour, and Piazza Umberto I.
