The Festa dell'AVIS of Commessaggio
The Festa dell'AVIS is the annual event organised by the municipal section of the AVIS (Italian Association of Blood Volunteers) of Commessaggio, a small municipality in the province of Mantua in the Oltrepò Mantovano area. It takes place at the end of June at the sports field on Via Indipendenza.

The festival offers several evenings (traditionally four) of Mantuan cuisine, with food stalls alongside ballroom dancing and live music. It is one of the most cherished events of the village's summer, capable of attracting residents of Commessaggio and neighbouring municipalities.
