Festa del Jambon de Bosses DOP — Jambon Day

The 2025 edition of the Festa del Jambon de Bosses DOP confirmed the success of one of the most representative sagre (festivals) of Valle d'Aosta. In the hamlet of Saint-Léonard, in Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses, visitors were able to taste the prized Jambon de Bosses DOP — the only raw ham seasoned with mountain herbs and aged at 1,600 metres altitude — served with black bread, butter, honey, and walnuts and paired with Aosta Valley wines. The day featured guided tastings, visits to the ham producer, food stalls with typical local products, workshops for children, music, and dancing, in a community celebration that promotes an excellent product from the province of Aosta.
