Autumn on the Tonezza Plateau

The Festa d'Autunno is one of the most characteristic events in Tonezza del Cimone, a mountain municipality in the province of Vicenza located at about 1,000 meters above sea level, on the border between Veneto and Trentino. The event takes place between late September and early October, when the plateau's woods are tinged with autumn colours and the village celebrates its rural traditions.

The Market and Typical Products

The heart of the festival is the market that enlivens the streets of the centre, with exhibitors of folk traditions, artistic crafts, and handmade creations. There is also space for the exhibition-market of typical food and wine products from the area, with seasonal sweet and savoury specialities, natural body care products, and artisanal gift ideas.

Ancient Crafts

The Festa d'Autunno is above all a journey into the peasant and mountain memory of the plateau. Among the stalls, demonstrations of ancient crafts come to life: basket weaving, wood carving, cheese production, and wool spinning. A precious opportunity to see ancient skills at work and to involve adults and children in traditional activities and games.

Promoted by the Pro Loco and the IAT office of Tonezza del Cimone, the Festa d'Autunno enhances the identity of a small Alpine village in the Vicenza area, combining tourist hospitality, mountain gastronomy, and folk traditions in a day designed for families and visitors.
