Above Menaggio, the pearl of the western shore of Lake Como in the province of Como, rises Monte Crocetta, a panoramic height reachable by paths leading up from the town. Here, in July, an outdoor festival takes place, combining the devotional aspect linked to the small church of San Maurizio with the hiking dimension, in a place also marked by the historical traces of the Cadorna Line, the fortified system from the First World War.
