Brissogne and its Patron Saint

The Municipality of Brissogne, in the province of Aosta, celebrates its patron saint, Saint Catherine of Alexandria, every year on November 25th. The village's parish church is also dedicated to her. The patronal feast is one of the most cherished events in the local calendar, an occasion for religious reflection as well as celebration for the entire community.

Between Faith and Community

The day traditionally opens with the solemn mass in honor of the Saint and the procession, followed by moments of conviviality that liven up the village. The Pro Loco of Brissogne organizes the unmissable community dinner—in previous years held at the Pacou multi-purpose center—with appetizers, tartiflette, and traditional Aosta Valley desserts, in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
