The Patron Saint's Feast in Bassa Friulana

Palazzolo dello Stella, a municipality in Bassa Friulana located on the Stella River and close to the Marano Lagoon, celebrates its patron saint, Saint Anthony of Padua (feast day June 13th), every year in mid-June. The Feast of Saint Anthony is the town's major summer event: a patronal feast that combines devotion, music, engines, and good food.

Concerts, Engines, and Food Stalls

For several days, the festival area comes alive with a rich and varied program. The food and wine stalls offer a hearty menu, with grilled meats, frico, wienerschnitzel, pulled pork, sandwiches, side dishes, desserts, and wine. The evenings are lit up by music: DJ sets and, above all, concerts by well-known national artists who have brought famous Italian entertainers to Palazzolo over the years.

Among the most popular events is the "Palazzolo in Vespa" rally, which fills the town with vintage scooters and enthusiasts. The event is organized by the Saint Anthony Festival Committee, a focal point of the town's community life.
